1. Parties and Subject
These Terms of Use apply between Dump, operated by Milvasoft Yazılım Bilişim Araştırma Geliştirme Danışmanlık Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti., and the natural or legal person who uses the Platform.
The agreement between the parties is formed when the user creates an account and accepts these Terms of Use electronically.
Mandatory provisions of consumer, personal data, intellectual property and personality rights law remain reserved.
2. What Is Dump?
Dump is a social content and discovery platform where users can record experiences, activities, trips, routes, events or routines they have lived or are planning in the real world as stops and steps, and add text, photos, videos, audio, prices and locations to them.
Depending on the features made available, the Platform may also offer functions such as:
- creating dumps,
- viewing routes and maps,
- copying dumps,
- using templates,
- creating collaborative dumps,
- creating collections,
- following and close friends,
- private messaging,
- routines and reminders,
- AI-assisted suggestions and discovery,
- personalized recommendations,
- XP, badges or similar gamification features,
- a Premium subscription,
- AI credits,
- content promotion/boost,
- viewing content in the television app.
Not every feature is guaranteed to be available to every user, device or country.
3. Age Limit
Under its own service policy, Dump is open only to people who are 18 or older.
This limit is Dump's contractual service policy.
Where further obligations arise from laws on children's access to social networks, age verification or online safety, Dump fulfils those obligations separately.
If a user turns out to be under 18, the account may be temporarily restricted or closed.
4. Creating an Account
The user agrees:
- that the information they provide is accurate,
- not to open an account on behalf of another person without permission,
- that their username and profile do not infringe the rights of third parties,
- to protect their login credentials,
- to notify Dump when they notice unauthorized use of their account.
Dump may request additional verification for security reasons.
5. Account Verification and the Blue Check
Dump may offer account verification to some users.
Verified account status does not mean:
- that Dump endorses the person's views,
- that the account's posts are guaranteed to be accurate, or
- that the user is granted any special legal privilege.
If an identity document or other document is requested for verification, the related personal data processing is explained separately in the KVKK Privacy Notice.
6. Dump Content and Stops
A dump may consist of:
- a route,
- stops,
- locations,
- descriptions,
- photos,
- videos,
- audio,
- prices,
- links,
- times or similar elements.
The user is responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information they add.
Dump does not guarantee that prices, opening hours, routes, places or other information written by users are always up to date.
7. Visibility Settings
To the extent the features support it, Dump may let content be viewed:
- only by the user,
- by close friends,
- by followers,
- by specific people, or
- publicly.
The user is responsible for checking the visibility of content before sharing it.
7.1. Most Restrictive Setting Principle
Where account privacy and the visibility of an individual piece of content conflict, the more restrictive privacy setting applies unless the product interface clearly states otherwise.
Content of a private account is not made public without the user's explicit and separate choice.
8. Ownership of User Content
The user keeps their intellectual property rights in the original content they create.
Uploading content to the Platform does not transfer ownership of those rights to Dump.
The user confirms that they are entitled to share the content they upload on the Platform and to grant the licenses set out in these Terms of Use.
9. Platform License Granted to Dump
When the user uploads content to the Platform, they grant Dump a non-exclusive license, limited to the duration of the service and to the extent necessary to provide the service, for:
- reproduction,
- changing its technical format,
- storage and backup,
- display within the visibility the user has chosen,
- representation within the Platform,
- transmission to Platform users by means that carry signals, sound or images,
- processing to the extent required by features the user has explicitly enabled.
Dump may let hosting, CDN, notification, map and similar service providers exercise these rights to the extent technically necessary to provide the service.
This license does not give Dump the right to use user content in independent advertising campaigns outside the Platform.
10. Promotion on Dump's Official Channels
If Dump wants to use a user's public content on its own social media accounts, in advertisements or in promotional materials, it asks the user for separate permission.
Content being public on the Platform does not by itself give Dump the right to use it for promotion outside the Platform.
The user may withdraw a promotion permission with effect for the future.
11. Dump Copying and Templates
When a user marks a dump as “copyable”, “usable as a template” or similar, they grant other users who are allowed to see the content a limited license within the Platform.
To the extent needed for the feature, this license covers:
- copying the structure of the dump,
- copying stops,
- reproducing text and images the user has allowed to be copied,
- processing and adapting the content in a new dump.
11.1. Visibility Limit
A copy made from content shared with followers, close friends or a limited group of users cannot be more widely visible than the source content.
For example, a copy made from a dump shared with close friends cannot be published publicly unless the owner of the source content separately allows it.
Content visible only to the user cannot be copied.
11.2. Attribution
To the extent it fits the product design, Dump may show the source user or source dump on content that was copied or created from a template.
11.3. Third-Party Content
Before making photos, videos, music or other content belonging to third parties copyable, the user must hold the necessary rights.
12. Later Deletion of Source Content
A user deleting their source dump later may not automatically delete independent user copies that were lawfully created earlier.
However, this does not remove:
- rights under the KVKK,
- personality rights,
- privacy of private life,
- copyright and trademark rights,
- requests to remove unlawful content,
- court and competent authority decisions.
Copied content can also be reported separately.
13. Collaborative Dumps
Dump may let one or more users add content to the same dump.
Each participant keeps their rights in the original content they add.
By adding their content to a collaborative dump, the participant grants Dump and the owner of the collaborative dump a limited license, to the extent necessary to create and display that dump, for:
- reproduction,
- editing,
- inclusion in the structure of the dump,
- display to the people within the dump's visibility.
A participant closing their account may not require the automatic removal of contributions they previously added to a shared dump.
However, removal requests arising from personal data, personality rights or intellectual property law remain reserved.
14. Messaging
Dump may let users send private messages to each other.
As a rule, private messages are not published openly to other users.
Nevertheless, in limited cases such as:
- a user report,
- suspected fraud,
- child safety,
- a serious threat,
- a legal obligation,
- Platform security,
Dump may access the relevant messages through authorized staff.
The user may not unlawfully publish someone else's private message.
15. Routines and Reminders
Dump may offer routine and reminder features tied to dates and times set by users. Location-based reminders can be used only if this feature is made available and the user turns it on.
For location-based reminders, location is accessed only to the extent needed for the feature to work and only after the user grants the necessary device permissions. If the feature needs background location access, the user is informed separately and in advance about the purpose and scope of the access, and the necessary device permissions are obtained.
For these features, the purposes and legal grounds for processing personal data, and to whom and for what purposes it is transferred, if at all, are communicated before processing begins through the KVKK Privacy Notice and, where needed, feature-specific explanations. Where explicit consent is required, it is obtained separately from this information. Accepting these Terms of Use or granting a device permission does not by itself mean explicit consent to the processing of personal data.
Under this feature, location data is used only to the extent needed to provide the relevant reminder. The user can turn the reminder feature off or remove the related permissions in the device settings. When the feature is turned off, location access for this feature ends. Removing device permissions may also affect other features that need those permissions.
Reminders may be affected by device and notification settings, operating system restrictions, connectivity, location accuracy and similar technical factors. Therefore, reminders are not guaranteed to work without interruption or at exactly the set time in every case. This statement does not remove Dump's liability arising from its own fault, its obligations regarding the protection of personal data or users' rights under mandatory law.
16. Routes, Location and Real-World Safety
Dump is not a navigation or emergency service.
Information on the Platform about:
- routes,
- places,
- walking,
- running,
- trips,
- transport,
- prices,
- opening hours,
- safety
may come from users or third-party data sources.
During their real-world activity, the user must comply with:
- traffic rules,
- private property boundaries,
- local regulations,
- facility and site rules,
- weather and environmental conditions.
A route shown on the Platform does not mean that entering an area is legally or physically safe.
17. Location Sharing Safety
Users should be careful when sharing information such as:
- their home address,
- their regular workplace,
- where children are,
- a real-time regular routine,
- other people's private locations.
Where necessary, Dump may limit the visibility of sensitive locations.
18. AI Features
Dump may offer AI-assisted:
- route suggestions,
- activity suggestions,
- text generation,
- discovery,
- classification,
- personalization.
AI outputs may contain incorrect, incomplete or outdated information.
AI outputs are not legal, medical, financial or professional advice.
The user should not base important decisions solely on AI output.
19. Personalized Recommendations and Taste Profile
Dump may create personalized recommendations based on the user's:
- likes,
- saves,
- the content they follow,
- category preferences,
- interactions within the Platform.
This system is not used to infer special categories of personal data or to build a profile of the user's sensitive characteristics, such as:
- religion,
- political opinion,
- health,
- sex life,
- ethnic origin.
Such sensitive inferences are not used for personalization or ad targeting.
20. Content Translation
The Platform may allow public user content to be translated with third-party translation technology.
Content that is not public is not transferred to a third-party translation provider.
21. Television App
Dump may let the user view the content in their account on a television or other connected devices.
Device sessions created with a QR code or similar methods are set up with temporary security tokens.
The user must not leave their account signed in, especially on shared devices or devices that are not theirs.
Dump may offer security features such as:
- viewing paired devices,
- remote sign-out,
- automatic sign-out after a period of inactivity.
22. Gamification
Virtual elements such as XP, points, levels, badges or leaderboards:
- have no monetary value,
- cannot be exchanged for cash,
- do not create ownership rights.
Dump may correct points in case of abuse, cheating or technical error.
23. Sponsored and Commercial Content
Dump may allow users to publish brand collaborations or sponsored content.
If the user receives, in return for content:
- a fee,
- free products,
- services,
- commission,
- discounts or
- any other economic benefit,
they must add an advertising/collaboration disclosure that makes the commercial relationship clear.
Influencers, content creators and businesses may use Platform features to produce lawful commercial content.
Dump may set separate business terms for certain commercial features.
24. Prohibited Uses
The Platform may not be used for:
- fraud,
- unauthorized access,
- malware,
- harassment or stalking,
- doxxing,
- child abuse,
- intellectual property infringement,
- personal data violations,
- sale of unlawful products/services,
- fake engagement,
- disrupting the Platform with bots,
- circumventing security measures.
The Community Guidelines are an integral part of this agreement.
25. Moderation
Depending on the nature of a violation, Dump may:
- reduce visibility,
- remove content,
- restrict certain features,
- reject a boost,
- temporarily suspend the account,
- permanently close the account.
Where there is no legal or security reason against it, the user is told the main reason for the action.
Where appropriate, the user may request a new review.
25.1. Hosting Provider Status
For the content users upload and share on the Platform, Dump is a hosting provider (yer sağlayıcı) under Turkish Law No. 5651 on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and Combating Crimes Committed Through Such Publications.
Dump is not obliged to check the content it hosts before publication or to generally investigate whether there is unlawful activity. This does not prevent Dump from applying its own moderation measures under the Community Guidelines and these Terms of Use.
25.2. Notice and Takedown
Anyone who believes that content infringes their copyright, personality rights, privacy of private life or other rights, or is otherwise unlawful, can notify Dump without creating an account through the online content notice form or at [email protected]. The notice procedure is explained on the Copyright and Content Reports page.
Dump responds to notices within 24 hours at the latest. Content found to be unlawful is removed or access to it is disabled; notices found insufficient are rejected with reasons.
Decisions of courts and competent public authorities and the time limits and procedures set by law are reserved.
25.3. Counter-Notice
A user whose content was removed following a notice is told the reason for and the basis of the removal, unless there is a legal or security reason against it.
If the user believes they have the right to use the content or that the decision is wrong, they can send a counter-notice with their reasons to [email protected]. The counter-notice is reviewed and may be forwarded to the person who sent the notice.
A counter-notice does not mean that the content will be republished automatically. The parties' right to go to court is reserved.
26. Third-Party Data and Content
The Platform may use third-party or openly licensed data sources for maps, places, music, translation or other features.
The license and attribution terms of third-party content apply.
Dump does not guarantee that third-party place information, prices or opening hours are always accurate.
27. Limits of Liability
To the extent Dump has no obligation to check user-generated content in advance, the accuracy of that content is not guaranteed.
This provision does not remove:
- Dump's own fault,
- intent or gross negligence,
- data security obligations,
- liabilities under consumer law,
- mandatory provisions of law.
28. Electronic Records
Dump's system and transaction records may be relied on as evidence in disputes.
These records are not conclusive or exclusive evidence.
The parties' right to rely on other evidence permitted by law is reserved.
29. Changes to These Terms
Dump may update these Terms of Use because of changes in:
- legislation,
- security,
- product development,
- technical requirements or
- the service model.
Material changes that significantly affect the user's rights are announced a reasonable time in advance.
If the user does not accept a change, they may close their account before it takes effect.
30. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by Turkish law.
The rights of users who are consumers to apply to consumer arbitration committees, consumer courts and other competent authorities under the law are reserved.
For disputes not involving consumers, the Courts and Enforcement Offices of Konya have jurisdiction to the extent permitted by law.
