1. An 18+ Platform
Dump is designed only for users who are 18 or older.
2. Age Assurance
In line with the law and the level of risk, Dump may use:
- date of birth,
- account signals,
- age verification technologies,
- document verification where necessary.
3. Data Minimization
Age verification uses as little data as possible.
Instead of storing a full identity document, where possible only the result “18 or older / not” is recorded.
4. Identity Documents
Where a document is needed, fields that are unnecessary for age verification, such as:
- national ID number,
- document serial number,
- address,
can be masked.
Dump does not currently request an identity document for age verification. If a document is requested, it is deleted within 30 days at the latest after verification is completed.
5. Biometric Verification
If face or biometric age estimation is used, a special assessment, separate information and the necessary legal ground under KVKK Art. 6 apply.
6. Accounts Under 18
If there is a reasonable suspicion that an account belongs to someone under 18, the account may be temporarily restricted.
An account confirmed to belong to someone under 18 is closed.
7. Child Abuse
Dump applies zero tolerance to:
- CSAM,
- grooming,
- sextortion,
- sexual solicitation of children,
- sexualization of children.
8. Reporting and Cooperation with Authorities
Where the law requires it, the relevant content and accounts are reported to the competent public authorities.
Data is transferred to international organizations only where there is a relevant legal basis.
9. Profiling and Advertising Aimed at Children
Dump does not target children who are found to have accessed the Platform in breach of the age limit for behavioural advertising or sensitive profiling.
